A 2-day workshop provided by Dr. Nelzo Ereful, Post-doctoral Researcher (Bioinformatics) at the National Institute of Agricultural Botany, Cambridge, UK
Topics covered include pre-processing of raw high-throughput sequencing data, reference-guided alignment, and differential expression analysis. Knowledge in this field will facilitate studies that aim to identify genes whose altered expression levels can significantly affect certain traits of interest, and can be applied to a wide array of research from agriculture to medicine and many others.
