The Philippine Journal of Science is now accepting submissions for a special issue on Genomics, dedicated to exploring the application of ‘omics technology and bioinformatics in the country, covering all areas of biological investigation, including but not limited to health, agriculture, biodiversity, ethnicity, and forensics.
Submissions of primary research offering novel insights into:
- genomics (whole genome sequencing, targeted resequencing studies)
- functional genomics (transcriptional profiling, analysis of mRNA, microRNA, noncoding and other RNAs)
- evolutionary and comparative genomics
- genomic technology and methodology development
computational biology, bioinformatics and biostatistics - population genomics, association studies
other ‘omics fields: transcriptomics, proteomics, metagenomics, metabolomics, epigenomics
