Themed, “Proteins in AKTion: An ÄKTA FPLC and SPR Workshop for Protein Purification and Characterization“, the workshop was attended by early-career researchers, faculty, healthcare professionals, high school, college, and graduate students and consisting of the following topics:
- Protein extraction and purification
- Protein binding kinetics
- ÄKTA Fast Protein Liquid Chromatography (FPLC)
- Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) Spectrometry
- Research design techniques for proteins
