The executive committee of the Philippine Genome Center went to PGC Mindanao on June 15-17, 2023 for a roadmap review and planning for the future of the genome center. The discussions covered mandates and existing strategies of the center as well as a review of its current and upcoming research endeavors. 

The planning was attended by members of the PGC executive committee and staff from both the PGC Mindanao and HQ.

On the second day, there were also explanatory talks on R&D collaboration with the Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC) to discuss potential capacity-building for biobanking and health-related services.
