On August 23, 2023, the Clinical Genomics Laboratory (CGL) together with the National Center for Mental Health (NCMH) conducted a second session for the Capacitation Plan or Phase I of the NMCH Mental Health Tissue Biobank and Multi-Omics Capacity Building Program. The workshop is carried out to prepare the center and its stakeholders for implementing a Mental Health Biobanking program.
The program’s first session was held on July 6-7, 2023. Both sessions are centered on holding more awareness-building workshops and activities that will identify key NCMH staff and consultants who can ensure the sustainability of biobanking and multi-omic research efforts at the mental health center.
