[Webinar] Decoding Resistance: Integrated metagenomics and metatranscriptomic approaches for AMR detection
Date: August 19, 2026 | Wednesday | 8:30 AM, Manila Time
This talk on integrated metagenomics and metatranscriptomic approaches for AMR detection is a collaboration between PGC, the Philippine Association of Tropical Medicine and Global Health (PATMeGH), Hamburg Trading Corporation, and QIAGEN.
In this webinar:
✅ Understand the role of integrated metagenomic and metatranscriptomic approaches in the detection, characterization, and surveillance of antimicrobial resistance (AMR).
✅ Explore the application of QIAGEN AMR panels and next-generation sequencing technologies for comprehensive AMR profiling across clinical, environmental, and research settings.
✅ Demonstrate how the QIAcuity Digital PCR System can be used for sensitive quantification and validation of AMR targets, enabling accurate monitoring and supporting data-driven decision-making in AMR research and surveillance programs.
