[Webinar] LC-MS Metabolomics in Motion: Techniques and Tools for PFAS Biosurveillance
Hosted by the Protein, Proteomics, and Metabolomics Facility (PPMF) in collaboration with RainPhil, Inc. and Waters
Date: November 14, 2025 | 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Course Description:
Metabolomics is a rapidly evolving field, with advances driving innovation in health, agriculture, biomedical, and environmental research. Through this webinar, PPMF aims to showcase and further advance technological developments in metabolomics. Targeted at scientists, researchers, and industry professionals, the event will feature concise lectures from three distinguished experts sharing insights from their past and ongoing research. Discussions will delve into practical applications of metabolomics, including its role in evaluating exposure to PFAS—commonly known as “forever chemicals”—and other health-related hazards. After the lectures, a Q&A session will provide participants the opportunity to engage directly with the speakers. To gather feedback, an evaluation form will be distributed at the end of the event. By the conclusion of this online webinar, participants are expected to gain enhanced understanding of cutting-edge developments and practical applications in LC-MS workflows for metabolomics, with particular emphasis on exposomics and its various applications.
