All applicants must fulfill the following requirements:
Student applicants must be undergraduate or graduate students in good academic standing, enrolled in a science or engineering course at an accredited college or university in the Philippines. Young professional applicants must have a BS degree in a science or engineering field, and be a researcher and/or faculty member employed at a research or higher education institution in the Philippines.
Participation requires a personal computer (laptop or desktop) with a reliable high-speed internet connection.
Accepted interns will receive training in introductory biology, genomics, and bioinformatics, and gain supervised, hands-on experience doing research or infrastructure development on real bioinformatics projects. No stipend or remuneration will be provided.
All applicants are requested to provide a copy of their curriculum vitae, as well as a letter of motivation addressed to the Internship Committee of the Core Facility for Bioinformatics, Philippine Genome Center, to be submitted through the application form linked below.
