Feb 20, 2019 – The Shared Genomics Core Laboratory (SGCL) is a research and service laboratory for high-throughput genomics research. It boasts highly-advanced equipment units that will now be available and accessible to researcher and students from universities and research institutions across the country.

The SGCL was made possible through the support of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) through its Philippine California Advanced Research Institute (PCARI) program. The event was attended by officials from CHED, UP, DOST, DBM, DOH etc.
